Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand
  plant safety policies and promote safety through personal conduct,
  including adhering to safe working practices and reporting unsafe
  conditions.
• Responsible for performing monitoring and support activities during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with regulatory, GMP and customer expectation standards.
• Ensure document control to meet safe quality food (SQF), hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP), and customer requirements.
• Inspection of raw materials, packaging, in-process and finished product to defined specifications as per area of responsibility.
• Monitor pre-op and operational sanitation compliance and record information/deviations as necessary, including notification and investigation of process deviations.
• Report and complete deviation investigations , hold documentation for out of specification material, process, area with production to implement corrective actions.
• Perform environment testing program requirements
   in the assigned area of responsibility. quality assurance and other
  company standards throughout production, receiving and shipping
• Maintain working knowledge and awareness of food safety and quality programs.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The work environment alternates between an office and a cold production setting with concrete floors. This position requires the incumbent to:

• Stand and walk through plant up to 10 hours per day;
• Endure cold temperatures (32 degrees);
• Visually identify and evaluate product

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and repair problems with some supervision.

• Assist senior technicians with their team projects.

• Participate in daily maintenance/repair duties to ensure machine reliability.

• Implement countermeasures based on requests from senior technicians and management.

• Complete all assigned PM’s on a timely manner

• Address other issues and/or assume other responsibilities as they pertain to improving Quality, Cost, Delivery and Development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to identify and repair basic technical problems in assembly equipment

• Demonstrated Electrical/ Mechanical Knowledge

• Demonstrate knowledge of production processes

Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports
   material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility

• Loading and unloading goods

• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility

• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions

• Checking loads are secure

• Stacking empty pallets

• Performing daily equipment checks

• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
